As of now,Discussions are still going in the university about Exemption Subject rules for the award of PC & CMM... Official and finalized details will be released soon.

· As Per EXEMPTION SUBJECT rules for(REGULAR) R10 REGULATION,a student can leave 8 credits out of 208 Total credits for the award of PC or CMM

· As Per EXEMPTION Academic rules FOR R10 REGULATION,a student can leave only 2 subjects from total of 4 years for award of PC or CMM,irrespective of total 8 credits that can be left

· For lateral Entry students,they can also leave 8 credits from total of 170 credits...As per preliminary info ,a lateral entry student can leave any 2 subjects from their total 3 academic years... However A lateral student also cannot leave laboratories and project ....

· If a student wants to leave subjects from any year,he can leave only 2 subjects from a total of 4 years

· As per first year credits rule, one subject is equal to 2 credits.....so for those who are having more than 2 backlogs in first year,the student should be aware that for the award of PC/CMM he can leave only 2 subjects from any 4 years irrespective of credits....

· A student cannot leave laboratories and project for the award of PC/CMM

· But,However a student can leave Lab based Subjects(like EDC ,NA,ET etc............) as per PRELIMINARY INFO for the award of PC/CMM

To be more clear,

BELOW ARE SOME CASES,IN WHICH A PC/CMM CAN/CANNOT NOT BE AWARDED...

Note 1:

If a student has more that 2 backlogs in first year,he cannot be awarded a degree...

Note 2 :

For example,A student has 3 backlogs....2 backlogs in first year(4 CREDITS) and 1 backlog(4 CREDITS) in any of the 3 years(be it 2nd year/3rd/4th)...... PC/CMM cannot be awared because he can leave only 2 subjects from total 4 years eventhough total credits that can be left 8

Note 3 :

For example,A student has 2 backlogs....1 backlog (`2CREDITS)in first year and 1 backlog(4 CREDITS) in any of the 3 years(be it 2nd year/3rd/4th)...... PC/CMM can be awared because he can leave only 2 subjects from total 4 years

Also a student can be awarded a degree, if he has only 2 backlogs form 1st/2nd/3rd/4th year...

Six Arrested for Kidnapping, Selling Babies in Telangana

Hyderabad: Six persons including four women were today arrested for allegedly abducting baby boys and selling them in Nalgonda district of Telangana, police said.

M Mallaiah, M Raju (stone cutter) besides four women-- K Rangamma (Tea vendor) P Yadamma, K Pochamma, M Buchamma (all labourers) had formed a gang and started kidnapping baby boys aged between 1-4 years and sold them to those not having children for amount ranging from Rs. 7,000 to Rs. One lakh, Nalgonda Superintendent of Police T Prabhakar Rao said.

"They confessed of kidnapping and selling seven children from different parts of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate and Vijayawada city between November last year and June 18," the SP said adding all the children were sold at Alair and Yadagirgutta areas of Nalgonda district.

Out of the seven babies five were identified and handed over to their parents while the buyers were being questioned. Further investigations are on.

Oohalu Gusagusalaade Movie Review

Varahi Chalana Chitram has produced the romantic film Oohalu Gusa Gusa Laade. The movie has released across the world and Srinivas Avasarala is making his debut as a director. Let us see how this movie is now.

Story :

Venky (Naga Shourya) is a TV anchor in a teleshopping program in UB TV. His aim is to become a news reader, to fulfil the dream of his sick father. For this, he does everything he can to please his boss Uday (Avasarala Srinivas).

One day a marriage broker (Prithvi) brings an alliance for Uday and he falls in love with the girl. He requests Venky to help him in impressing the girl as she is a very demanding person. As Venky gets into the matter, he discovers that the girl is none other than his old lover Prabhavathi (Raasi Khanna).

A comedy of errors starts as Venky is caught between his former lover and his boss. Venky also develops feelings for Prabhavathi. What does he do? Who will marry Prabhavathi? That is the story.

Plus Points :

Naga Shourya is perfect as the boy next door. He has good ease in romantic scenes and he manages to support Srinivas Avasarala well in comedy scenes. Avasarala is very good as the bumbling boss Uday. His desperation to marry Prabhavathi is hilarious.

Raasi Khanna is a good find and this actress can get some good film in future. Posani and Rao Ramesh are decent.

Good second half is a major plus for the movie. The comedy will work in A centers and multiplexes. Avasarala’s restaurant scene with Raasi Khanna is hilarious.

Minus Points :

The film is a tad long. The first half could have been trimmed considerably as the romantic track between Naga Shourya and Raasi Khanna is not too good.

Placement of songs is very bad throughout the film. They don’t help the flow in any way.

The comedy and romantic scenes will not work in B and C centers. It is a strictly A centre film.

Technical Aspects :

Cinematography is good . Editing is poor. KALYANI koduri has done a decent job with the music and background score . Dialogues are very good.

Avasarala’s direction in this movie is average. He should work on his narrative style for better speed. Even though this film is a small budget flick, the production values are equal to a mainstream commercial film. The production house has made sure that they have not compromised on the richness of the film, and have once again proved their conviction towards film making

Verdict :

‘Oohalu Gusa Gusa Laade ‘ is a romantic comedy that will make for a great weekend watch with its good entertainment levels . This is a film that will do well in multiplex areas.

Indrudu Movie review

The much-awaited film “Indrudu” has hit the screens today. It is the Telugu dubbed version of the Tamil movie “Naan Sigappu Manithan”. The movie doesn’t have big stars or other commerical elements. Yet it was being projected as a commercial entertainer. To find out the fate of the movie, Read Indrudu Review.

Story :

Indran (Vishal) suffers from Narcolepsy (a sleep disorder that forces him to fall asleep whenever he experiences extreme emotion) since birth. He grows up to be totally dependent on his mother (Saranya)and is unable to travel anywhere without her support.

Saranya desperately wants to get her son married. But it is not possible for Indran to have an intimate relationship because these powerful emotions will invariably trigger his sleeping disorder.

Meera (Lakshmi Menon), daughter of a rich business tycoon (Jayaprakash) comes into his life and gives it a new meaning. Her father is against the match though, as he fears that his daughter will not be able to bear children if she marries Indran. But Meera is determined and together they discover that Indran never falls asleep despite all provocation under water

This leads to them experimenting in a swimming pool, where they eventually get intimate and Meera gets pregnant.

Fate delivers a cruel blow to the couple just when they thought all was good. Meera gets gang-raped brutally while Indran is helplessly asleep.

How Indran, who has absolutely no clue to the identity of these men, finds them and avenges his beloved, who is lying in a coma, forms the rest of the story. Quite intriguing, indeed.\

Performances and Technical Aspects :

Vishal as Indran, has delivered a commendable performance. It’s certainly not easy to essay the character he did. His frequent collapsing appears absolutely natural with no superfluous theatrics. Kudos to the director for bringing out the best in him.

Lakshmi Menon plays her part perfectly. Her depiction of pain in the gang rape scene deserves a special mention.

Saranya, who plays the quintessential adorable mother of Indran, gets into the skin of character and is delightful to watch.

Director Thiru is the hero of the movie. His intelligent screenplay keeps the audience totally engrossed till the very end. In the absence of big stars, he ensures that the movie keeps the audiences on the edge of the seat.

The screenplay of the movie, though novel, is quite patchy. Poor editing too!

Music by G V Prakash is excellent, creating the right ambience and intensifying the emotions of the characters.

Richard’s cinematography is impressive especially in scenes where we see the use of hand-held camera.

Prabhas comes clean on his personal life!

Prabhas, one of the top stars of Tollywood, has not released a single film in the last few months but his name has been dragged into the news.

First, reports about his ill-health surfaced on the social media. Next came rumors about his relationship with Y S Sharmila, late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy's daughter.

He kept mum all these days but finally came out with a statement putting an end to all speculations.

Over the past several months there have been many rumors concerning my health. My family members and close friends have received numerous phone calls from well wishers wanting to know if my health was OK, if I was in Coma or seriously injured etc. which has been painful to the say the least to my family" clarified Prabhas about his ill-health through a statement.

Deeply hurt by the constant rumors, he also made it clear that he never met Ms. Sharmila. He said he went through trauma seeing all these reports that damaged the dignity of a well-respected person. He stated, "There have also been several embarrassing rumors about my alleged relationship with Ms. Y. S. Sharmila. I would like to categorically state that I have never met or spoken to Ms. Y. S. Sharmila and the rumors in circulation are completely baseless and have not even an iota of truth in them."

He also gave the reason for not responding earlier. Earlier, I have not responded seriously to rumors concerning my health, hoping that they would fade away. I felt that ignoring these rumors was the best way to deal with them. However, I can't ignore rumors, which affect another individual and I have now decided to issue this statement, to strongly condemn them. They are insensitive, disrespectful and are damaging to the dignity and reputation of a well-respected individual who is married and a mother as well.?

Prabhas also asked the police and concerned authorities to take stern action against rumor mongers.
